Broccoli-beef squares
Ingredients/Components
- eggs - 4 item
- pkg - 1 oz
- milk - 1/2 c
- salt - 1 tsp
- cold water - 1/2 c
- grated Parmesan cheese - 1/4 c
- chopped onion - 1/3 c
- dash of pepper - 1 item
- ground beef - 1 lb
- shredded Cheddar cheese - 2 c
- Bisquick baking mix - 2 c
- can mushroom stems and pieces, drained - 1 oz
How to make broccoli-beef squares:
Preheat oven to 400°. Grease a 13 x 9 x 2-inch baking dish. Cook and stir beef in 10-inch skillet until brown; drain. Stir in mushrooms, 1 1/2 cups Cheddar cheese and onion. Mix baking mix, water and remaining Cheddar cheese until soft dough forms; beat 20 strokes. Put dough in dish with floured hands, pressing 1/2-inch up sides. Spread beef mixture over dough; sprinkle with broccoli. Mix remaining ingredients; pour over broccoli. Bake until knife inserted near center comes out clean, 25 to 30 minutes.
