  • margarine or butter - 2 Tbsp
  • sliced celery - 1/4 c
  • chopped fresh thyme leaves or 1/4 tsp - 3/4 tsp
  • can Franco-American turkey gravy - 1 1/2
  • diagonally sliced pieces Italian bread - 4 item

How to make hot turkey sandwiches:

In 2-quart saucepan over medium heat, in hot margarine, cook carrots, onion, celery and thyme until tender, stirring occasionally. Stir in gravy. Heat to boiling. Add turkey. Heat through, stirring occasionally. Divide turkey and gravy mixture evenly among bread slices. If desired, serve with apples and grapes; garnish with fresh thyme. Makes 4 servings.
