Ingredients/Components

  • milk - 1 c
  • salt - 1 Tbsp
  • beaten eggs - 3 item
  • chili powder - 3 Tbsp
  • can whole kernel corn, drained - 1 item
  • hamburger
  • can tomatoes - 1 item
  • chopped green peppers - 1 c
  • medium onions, chopped - 3 item
  • corn meal - 2 c
  • cayenne pepper red pepper - 3 tsp
  • oil yes 1 c - 1 c

How to make hot tamale pie:

Cook meat and onion in oil until browned. Add rest of ingredients, except milk, eggs and corn meal. Cook 5 minutes. Remove from heat and add milk, beaten eggs and corn meal. Mix well. Pour into 9 x 13-inch pan. Bake for 40 to 45 minutes at 400° or until looks dry on top.
