Hot pepper jelly
Ingredients/Components
- sugar - 6 c
- cider vinegar
- green food coloring - 1/8 tsp
- green bell peppers - 3/4 c
- bottle certo - 1 item
- hot peppers leave seeds - 1/4 c
How to make hot pepper jelly:
Grind together all peppers only.In sauce pan add ground peppers, sugar, cider vinegar and food coloring; mix and bring to rolling boil. Remove from heat and add certo. Stir well and pour into sterilized jars. Seal and enjoy all year round.
Note: Red peppers and red food coloring may be used instead of green peppers for variety.
