Ingredients/Components

  • sugar - 6 c
  • cider vinegar
  • green food coloring - 1/8 tsp
  • green bell peppers - 3/4 c
  • bottle certo - 1 item
  • hot peppers leave seeds - 1/4 c

How to make hot pepper jelly:

Grind together all peppers only.

In sauce pan add ground peppers, sugar, cider vinegar and food coloring; mix and bring to rolling boil. Remove from heat and add certo. Stir well and pour into sterilized jars. Seal and enjoy all year round.

Note: Red peppers and red food coloring may be used instead of green peppers for variety.
