Ingredients/Components
- salt - 1 Tbsp
- hot water - 2 c
- chili powder - 6 Tbsp
- ground beef - 4 lb
- oregano - 1 tsp
- cloves garlic - 2 item
- ground cumin - 1 tsp
- large onion, chopped - 1 item
- cans tomatoes - 2 oz
- chopped jalapeno peppers to taste - 1 item
- to 4 cans kidney beans or pinto beans - 2 item
How to make hot chili:
Combine meat, and garlic in a large skillet. Cook until meat is light brown. Add remaining ingredients (except for beans) and bring to a boil. Reduce heat and simmer 1 hour. Add beans (as many as desired) and heat until hot. Recipe may be halved. Serve with grated cheese, lettuce and sour cream.
