Ingredients/Components
- salt - 1 Tbsp
- hot water - 2 c
- cloves garlic, minced - 2 item
- chili powder - 6 Tbsp
- ground beef - 4 lb
- oregano - 1 tsp
- large onion, chopped - 1 item
- cans tomatoes with green chilies - 2 oz
How to make hot chili:
Combine ground beef, onion and garlic in large skillet. Cook until meat is lightly browned. Add remaining ingredients and bring to a boil. Reduce heat and simmer one hour (or until thickened), skimming off grease.Serving suggestions: In a large chafing dish with nacho chips, as a filling for taco shells or add kidney beans to make chili beans.
