Hot chicken salad
Ingredients/Components
- salt - 1 tsp
- lemon juice - 2 Tbsp
- chopped celery - 3/4 c
- can cream of chicken soup - 1 item
- mayonnaise - 3/4 c
- grated Cheddar cheese - 1 c
- finely chopped onion - 1 tsp
- curry optional
- or 5 hard-boiled eggs, sliced - 4 item
- cooked chicken breasts, poached and cut up - 4 c
How to make hot chicken salad:
Combine all ingredients, except cheese. Place in large rectangular casserole dish. Let stand in refrigerator overnight. Top with cheese. Bake at 400° for 20 to 25 minutes. Note: Four large chicken breasts makes about 4 cups. Serves 8.Recipe categories: Chicken, Main dish, One Dish meal.
