Hot chicken salad
Ingredients/Components
- salt - 1/2 tsp
- lemon juice - 3 Tbsp
- pepper - 1/2 tsp
- Worcestershire sauce - 1/4 tsp
- can cream of chicken soup - 1 item
- mayonnaise - 3/4 c
- minced onion - 2 Tbsp
- diced celery - 2 c
- potato chips, crushed - 1 item
- can water chestnuts, sliced - 1 item
- small can sliced mushrooms - 1 item
- whole chicken, cooked and cubed - 1 item
How to make hot chicken salad:
Mix chicken, celery, mushrooms and water chestnuts. Mix next 5 ingredients; add to chicken mixture. Spread in a 9 x 13-inch casserole. Top with chicken soup. (Refrigerate until next day, if desired.) Top with crushed chips and bake at 350° for 40 minutes. Serves 8.Recipe categories: Chicken, Main dish, One Dish meal.
