Hot chicken salad
Ingredients/Components
- salt - 1 tsp
- lemon juice - 1 tsp
- can cream of chicken soup - 1 item
- margarine, melted - 1/4 c
- mayonnaise - 3/4 c
- onion flakes - 1 tsp
- slivered almonds
- cooked rice - 2 3
- cooked, diced chicken - 2 c
- cornflakes, crushed
- celery stalks, cut in pieces - 2 item
How to make hot chicken salad:
Crunchy Topping:1 c. cornflakes, crushed3 1/2 oz. slivered almonds1/4 c. margarine, melted Combine all ingredients in a large bowl and mix thoroughly. Place in an ungreased casserole (12 x 9-inch) dish.Mix topping ingredients and spread on top. Bake at 350° for 35 minutes. Serves 8.
