Hot chicken salad
Ingredients/Components
- salt - 2 tsp
- lemon juice - 2 Tbsp
- 8 oz - 2 c
- pepper - 1/2 tsp
- can cream of chicken soup - 1 3/4
- chopped onions - 2 Tbsp
- mayonnaise - 2 c
- diced celery - 4 c
- slivered almonds - 1 c
- cubed, cooked chicken - 6 c
- bay leaves - 2 item
- can mushroom pieces, drained - 1 oz
- 16 oz - 2 c
- cans water chestnuts, drained - 2 oz
How to make hot chicken salad:
In large bowl, mix first 13 ingredients. Transfer to a 13 x 9 x 2-inch baking dish. Dish will be full. Sprinkle with cheese and French fried onions. Bake, uncovered, at 350° for 30 minutes or until heated through. Makes 16 servings.Recipe categories: Chicken, Main dish, One Dish meal.
