Ingredients/Components

  • salt - 2 tsp
  • vinegar
  • chopped onion - 1 c
  • cloves garlic - 2 item
  • green peppers - 2 c
  • large tomatoes, peeled and cored, chopped into small pieces - 6 item
  • hot chili peppers jalapeno - 1 c
  • cayenne pepper if you want it hot - 1 tsp

How to make homemade salsa:

Combine all ingredients in pan and cook for 20 minutes after it comes to a boil. Let cook, then refrigerate. Makes 1 1/2 quarts. Will keep in refrigerator for a few weeks.
