Homemade mayonnaise
Ingredients/Components
- salt - 1/4 tsp
- large egg - 1 item
- lemon juice - 1 Tbsp
- dry mustard - 1/4 tsp
- oil 1/2 c - 1 c
How to make homemade mayonnaise:
In bowl of food processor or blender, combine egg, salt and mustard; process to mix. Pour in lemon juice and process quickly. While processor is running, pour in oil very slowly. As oil is incorporated the consistency will become thick and creamy. Makes 1 cup.Recipe categories: Eggs/dairy, American, Condiments, etc..
