Holiday yam bake
Ingredients/Components
- chopped pecans - 3 Tbsp
- butter or margarine, melted - 2 Tbsp
- miniature marshmallows - 3/4 c
- light brown sugar - 2 Tbsp
- can crushed pineapple and juice - 1 1/2
- can yams, drained - 1 oz
How to make holiday yam bake:
Drain yams. Mash well. Drain pineapple. Reserve juice. Add juice to yams, sugar and butter. Beat well. Stir in pineapple and pecans. Coat inside of 1 1/2-quart casserole with Pam cooking spray. Spoon in mixture. Bake 20 minutes at 350°. Sprinkle with marshmallows. Bake 10 minutes longer. Serves 8.Recipe categories: Side dish, Potato, Yam/sweet potato.
