Ingredients/Components
- stick butter - 1 item
- flour - 2 c
- brown sugar - 1/2 c
- white sugar - 1/2 c
- buttermilk - 1 c
- baking soda - 1 tsp
- egg - 1 item
- vanilla - 1 tsp
- Heath bars, crushed - 6 item
- chopped nuts - 1/2 c
How to make heath bar coffee cake:
Blend butter, flour and brown sugar. Reserve 1/2 cup for topping. Add white sugar, buttermilk, baking soda, egg and vanilla. Blend and pour into greased and floured 9 x 13-inch pan. Mix reserved topping mix with Heath bars and nuts. Sprinkle over batter and bake at 350° for 30 minutes.Hint: Freeze candy bars first, they crush better.
