Sour milk cake

Ingredients/Components

• sugar - 1 c
• flour
• baking powder - 1/2 tsp
• baking soda - 1 tsp
• pinch of salt - 1 item
• egg - 1 item
• shortening - 2 Tbsp
• sour milk - 1 c

How to make sour milk cake:

Cream shortening, sugar, salt and egg. Alternate sour milk with dry ingredients. Bake at 350° until light golden brown on top and toothpick comes out clean. This cake is good with powdered sugar on top, or a Lazy Daisy topping, or any frosting.
