Ingredients/Components

  • whole cloves - 1 item
  • lb ground beef - 1 item
  • envelope brown gravy mix - 1 item
  • c brown sugar, firmly packed - 1/4 item
  • 1-8 oz pkg small pork sausage links
  • 1-1 lb can diced tomatoes
  • 2-1 lb cans pork and beans
  • or 2 onions, peeled - 1 item

How to make hearty baked bean casserole:

Brown sausages in skillet. Add ground beef, stirring until lightly browned. Drain off excess fat. Stir in tomatoes and gravy mix. In a 2 1/2 or 3 quart casserole, combine meat mixture with beans. Cut onions into thick slices. Pierce each with 3 or 4
