  • sugar - 2 c
  • cinnamon - 1 tsp
  • vanilla - 2 tsp
  • chopped nuts - 1 c
  • flour - 3 c
  • soda - 1 tsp
  • eggs, beaten - 3 item
  • vegetable oil
  • can crushed pineapple, drained - 1 oz
  • mashed ripe banana - 2 c

How to make hawaiian banana nut bread:

Combine dry ingredients; stir in nuts and set aside. Combine remaining ingredients. Add to dry ingredients, stirring just until batter is moistened. Spoon into 2 greased and floured 9 x 5 x 3-inch loaf pans. Bake at 350° for 1 hour and 5 minutes or until done. Cool 10 minutes before removing from pans. Remove to wire racks and cool completely. Can be frozen.
