Tropical fruit cake
Ingredients/Components
- sugar - 2 c
- cinnamon - 1 tsp
- vanilla
- salt - 1 tsp
- chopped nuts - 1 c
- flour - 3 c
- soda - 1 tsp
- eggs, beaten - 3 item
- vegetable oil - 1 c
- can crushed pineapple - 1 oz
- mashed bananas - 2 c
- margarine - 1/2 c
- powdered sugar, sifted - 16 oz
- Add eggs and oil, stirring until moistened do not beat
How to make tropical fruit cake:
Combine (sift first 5 ingredients). Add eggs and oil, stirring until moistened (do not beat). Stir in vanilla, pecans, pineapple and bananas. Pour into pan (greased and floured). Bake at 350° until toothpick comes out clean.Icing:1 (8 oz.) pkg. cream cheese1/2 c. margarine16 oz. powdered sugar, sifted1 tsp. vanilla For layer cake, use cream cheese, margarine, powdered sugar and vanilla.
