Ingredients/Components
- sugar - 2 c
- cinnamon - 1 tsp
- vanilla - 1 tsp
- salt - 1 tsp
- chopped nuts - 1/2 c
- flour - 3 c
- soda - 2 tsp
- grated carrots - 3 c
- eggs, beaten - 4 item
- baking powder - 2 tsp
- vegetable oil
- cherries optional - 20 item
How to make carrot cake:
Set aside grated carrots, cherries and nuts. Combine dry ingredients and sift into a large bowl. Add oil, carrots and vanilla; stir by hand until well done, then beat for 3 minutes.
