Ingredients/Components
- pkg - 1 oz
- carton sour cream - 1 oz
- chopped onion - 1/2 c
- margarine, melted - 3/4 c
- 4 oz - 1 c
- corn flakes, crushed - 2 c
- can cream of chicken soup undiluted - 1 3/4
How to make hash brown casserole:
Combine potatoes, 1/2 cup butter, onions, soup, sour cream and cheese. Stir well. Spoon into greased 2 1/2-quart casserole. Crush cereal and stir in remaining margarine. Sprinkle over potato mixture. Bake at 350° for 50 minutes. (If using fresh hash browns, cook few minutes longer. Really good reheated.)Recipe categories: Breakfast, Side dish, Casseroles.
