Ingredients/Components
- salt - 1 tsp
- melted margarine - 1/2 c
- pepper - 1 tsp
- chopped onion - 1/2 c
- sharp Cheddar cheese - 1 c
- corn flakes, crushed - 2 c
- frozen hash brown potatoes - 2 lb
- can cream of chicken soup, undiluted - 1 item
How to make hash brown casserole:
Mix all ingredients, except 1/4 cup margarine and corn flakes. Pour into 15 x 11-inch greased casserole dish. Mix the 1/4 cup margarine with corn flakes and spread on top. Bake at 350° for 1 1/2 hours. Makes a large casserole. Use 1/2 recipe for smaller casserole.Recipe categories: Breakfast, Side dish, Casseroles.
