Ingredients/Components
- sour cream - 1 c
- salt - 1/2 tsp
- stick margarine - 1/2 item
- margarine - 1/4 c
- corn flakes - 1 c
- pepper - 1/4 tsp
- chopped onion - 1/8 c
- can cream of chicken soup - 1/2 item
- shredded cheese - 1 c
- bag frozen hash brown potatoes - 16 oz
How to make hash brown casserole:
Thaw potatoes, melt 1/4 cup margarine, add salt, pepper, onion, chicken soup, sour cream and cheese to butter. Stir; fold in potatoes, spread mixture in greased 2-quart casserole. Mix corn flakes in 1/4 cup melted butter. Pour over top of mixture. Bake, uncovered, at 350° for 1 hour and 15 minutes.Recipe categories: Breakfast, Side dish, Casseroles.
