Ingredients/Components
- carton sour cream - 1 oz
- grated Cheddar cheese - 2 c
- small onion, diced - 1 item
- cans cream of chicken soup - 2 item
- frozen hash browns, thawed - 2 lb
- stick oleo, melted use 1/2 in hash brown mixture - 1 item
How to make hash brown casserole:
Mix well and place in a large oblong baking dish. Top with 2 cups crushed cornflakes. Pour 1/2 stick of the melted oleo over cornflakes. (Crushed Ritz crackers may be used instead of cornflakes but omit the 1/2 stick of melted oleo.) Bake at 350° for 1 hour.Recipe categories: Breakfast, Side dish, Casseroles.
