Ingredients/Components
- sour cream - 8 oz
- salt - 1 tsp
- melted butter - 1/2 c
- can cream of chicken soup - 1 item
- onion flakes - 1 tsp
- corn flakes, crushed - 2 c
- frozen hash brown potatoes - 32 oz
- grated Cheddar or American cheese - 12 oz
- melted butter for topping - 1/2 c
How to make hash brown casserole:
Place thawed potatoes in 9 x 13-inch pan. Mix next 6 ingredients and pour over potatoes. Top with corn flakes; drizzle with melted butter. Bake uncovered in 350° oven for 40 to 45 minutes. Makes 8 servings. An excellent buffet or brunch dish.Recipe categories: Breakfast, Side dish, Casseroles.
