Ingredients/Components
- pkg - 1 oz
- salt - 1 tsp
- melted butter - 1/2 c
- carton sour cream - 1 oz
- butter, melted - 1/2 c
- crushed cornflakes - 2 c
- small onion - 1/2 item
- grated American cheese - 12 oz
- can undiluted cream of chicken soup - 1 item
How to make hash brown casserole:
Place thawed potatoes in a 9 x 13-inch baking dish. Mix together the next 6 ingredients. Place over potatoes. Top with crushed cornflakes; drizzle melted butter over all. Bake, uncovered, at 350° for 45 minutes. Serves 12.Recipe categories: Breakfast, Side dish, Casseroles.
