Ingredients/Components
- sugar - 1/2 c
- cornstarch - 1/2 Tbsp
- vinegar - 1/2 c
- dash of salt - 1 item
- 2 can sliced beets
How to make harvard beets:
Mix sugar and cornstarch. Add vinegar and let boil for 5 minutes. Drain beets and pour vinegar mixture over them. Let stand 1/2 hour. Just before serving, add 2 tablespoons melted butter.Recipe categories: American, Side dish, Vegetables.
