Ingredients/Components
- sugar - 1/4 c
- salt - 1/4 tsp
- cornstarch - 1 Tbsp
- vinegar - 2 Tbsp
- margarine - 1 Tbsp
- beets - 1 pt
How to make harvard beets:
Mix sugar, cornstarch and salt. Add vinegar and beet liquid. Cook and stir constantly until thickened and clear. Add beets and margarine. Heat and serve.Note: You can use 3 or 4 fresh beets.
