- sugar - 1/4 c
- salt - 1/4 tsp
- butter - 1 Tbsp
- cornstarch - 1 Tbsp
- vinegar - 2 Tbsp
- beets - 1 item
How to make harvard beets:
Drain beets, reserving 2 tablespoons beet liquid. Mix sugar, cornstarch and salt. Add vinegar and beet liquid. Cook, stirring constantly, until thick and clear. Add beets and butter; heat.Recipe categories: American, Side dish, Vegetables.
