Ingredients/Components
- sugar - 3/4 c
- salt - 1/4 Tbsp
- butter - 3 Tbsp
- cornstarch - 2 tsp
- cider vinegar - 1/3 c
- pepper - 1/8 tsp
- cooked beets - 4 c
How to make harvard beets:
Combine sugar and cornstarch. Add cider vinegar and water; boil for 5 minutes. Add beets and simmer for 1/2 hour. Add butter and season with salt and pepper.Recipe categories: American, Side dish, Vegetables.
