Ingredients/Components
- sugar - 1/4 c
- butter - 1 Tbsp
- cornstarch - 1 Tbsp
- vinegar - 1/4 c
- salt and pepper to taste - 1 item
- 2 can beets
- water and liquid from canned beets - 1/4 c
How to make harvard beets:
Mix sugar and cornstarch and add water and vinegar. Boil 5 minutes. Add beets. Cook slowly, stirring occasionally until beets are hot. Add butter, salt and pepper.Recipe categories: American, Side dish, Vegetables.
