Hamburger stroganoff
Ingredients/Components
- salt - 1 tsp
- flour - 2 Tbsp
- dairy sour cream - 1 c
- margarine - 1/4 c
- pepper - 1/4 tsp
- chopped onion - 1/2 c
- hamburger - 1 lb
- hot cooked noodles - 2 c
- can cream of chicken or cream of mushroom soup - 1 1/2
- snipped parsley optional - 1 item
- mushroom stems and pieces, drained - 1 c
- garlic salt or 1 clove - 1 tsp
How to make hamburger stroganoff:
In large skillet, cook and stir ground beef and onion in margarine until onion is tender. Stir in flour, salt, garlic, pepper and mushrooms; cook 5 minutes, stirring constantly. Remove from heat. Stir in soup; simmer, uncovered, 10 minutes. Stir in sour cream; heat through. Serve over noodles. Sprinkle with snipped parsley if desired.Recipe categories: Vegetables, Ground beef, Beef.
