Ingredients/Components
- sugar - 1/2 c
- salt - 1/4 tsp
- oil - 1/2 c
- vinegar - 1/2 c
- pepper - 1/4 tsp
- celery seed - 1/2 tsp
- shredded cabbage - 1 lb
- onion - 1 item
- green pepper - 1 item
How to make german cole slaw:
Turn on saucepan and add sugar, oil and vinegar. Heat to boiling and add salt, pepper and celery seed. Pour over one pound of shredded cabbage, one onion and one green (bell) pepper, chopped fine. This will keep some time refrigerated.Recipe categories: Salads, Side dish, Vegetables.
