Hamburger and potato casserole
Ingredients/Components
- salt - 1 tsp
- beaten egg - 1 item
- pepper - 1/4 tsp
- chopped onion - 1 Tbsp
- ground beef - 1 lb
- bread crumbs - 1 c
- can milk - 1 item
- can cream of mushroom soup - 1 item
- or 5 potatoes - 4 item
How to make hamburger and potato casserole:
Mix ground beef, bread crumbs, chopped onion, salt, pepper and egg in a bowl and form into small balls. Brown in 2 tablespoons shortening. Put in greased 2 1/2-quart casserole dish. Slice 4 or 5 potatoes over the meat. Heat 1 can cream of mushroom soup and 1 can of milk until smooth. Pour over potatoes and meat.
