Ham and cheese quiche
Ingredients/Components
- eggs - 4 item
- 9-inch pie shells - 2 item
- small can mushrooms - 1 item
- small onion - 1 item
- milk 2% - 2 c
- Swiss cheese, cut in pieces - 1/2 lb
- ham, cut in pieces - 1/2 lb
How to make ham and cheese quiche:
Thaw pie shells. Bake for about 5 minutes. In a large bowl beat eggs and milk. After pie shells have baked for 5 minutes, layer bottom of both pie shells with ham, cheese, onion and mushrooms. Pour egg mixture into pie shells. This mixture will fill two pie shells. Bake at 425° for 15 minutes. Lower oven temperature to 300° and continue baking 45 to 60 minutes or until knife inserted in center comes out clean.Recipe categories: Lunch/snacks, Side dish, Main dish.
