Ground beef casserole
Ingredients/Components
- salt - 1 tsp
- oil - 1 Tbsp
- garlic powder - 1/2 tsp
- chopped onion - 3/4 c
- bay leaf - 1/2 item
- ground beef - 1 lb
- oregano - 1/2 tsp
- slices American cheese - 4 item
- Minute rice - 1 c
- can tomatoes - 1 item
- can mushroom soup - 1 item
- several olives if desired - 1 item
How to make ground beef casserole:
Brown meat in oil. Add onions and cook until tender. Add seasonings, soup, tomatoes and rice. Simmer 5 minutes. Pour in long, flat casserole. Garnish with cheese and olives. Broil until cheese is melted. Serves 6 to 8.Can be prepared and served in 1/2 hour.
