Grilled marinated turkey breast
Ingredients/Components
- soy sauce - 1/2 c
- minced garlic - 1 tsp
- peanut or vegetable oil - 1/2 c
- Sauterne wine or apple juice - 1 c
- grated fresh ginger root or 1 1/2 tsp - 1 tsp
How to make grilled marinated turkey breast:
Mix marinade ingredients in large bowl or heavy plastic bag. Marinate, turning several times, at least 2 hours at room temperature or up to 1 day in refrigerator. Remove turkey; discard marinade.To grill: Place turkey on grill 4 to 6 inches above medium hot coals. Cover and cook 3 to 5 minutes per side for 1/2-inch thickness, 5 to 7 minutes per side for 1-inch thickness until opaque all the way through. Take care not to overcook. Breasts are done when they are no longer pink in the center.
