Teriyaki meatballs
Ingredients/Components
- salt - 1 tsp
- brown sugar - 2 Tbsp
- cornstarch - 2 Tbsp
- water - 1/2 c
- oil - 1 Tbsp
- egg - 1 item
- pepper - 1/4 tsp
- chopped onion - 1/4 c
- soy sauce - 1/4 tsp
- ground beef - 1 lb
- bread crumbs - 1/4 c
- minced garlic - 1 tsp
- sherry - 2 tsp
- powdered ginger - 1/8 tsp
How to make teriyaki meatballs:
Combine ground beef, onion, bread crumbs, egg, salt, pepper and 1 tablespoon soy sauce. Shape into meatballs about 1 inch in diameter. Heat oil in skillet. Brown meatballs, remove from skillet. Pour off drippings. Combine remaining ingredients and cook in skillet on low heat until sauce thickens, stirring constantly. Return meatballs to skillet and simmer, covered, for 10 minutes.
