Easy turkey gravy
Ingredients/Components
- chopped onion - 1/2 c
- celery stalk, diced - 1 item
- flour - 2 Tbsp
- defatted turkey broth or 1 c - 1 c
- evaporated skim milk - 1 c
- pepper - 1/4 tsp
- salt - 1/4 tsp
How to make easy turkey gravy:
Lightly coat a medium saucepan with nonstick cooking spray. Add onion and celery and cook over medium heat until tender (about 5 minutes), stirring occasionally. Sprinkle flour over vegetables in pan and stir until flour is browned, about 3 to 4 minutes. Stir in turkey or chicken broth and evaporated skim milk. Bring to a boil; reduce heat and simmer until thickened, about 10 minutes. Strain to remove vegetables. Season with salt and pepper to taste.Recipe categories: < 15 mins, Sauces, Condiments, etc..
