Ingredients/Components
- milk - 1/2 c
- butter or margarine, melted - 1 Tbsp
- Worcestershire sauce - 1/2 tsp
- slivered almonds, toasted - 1/4 c
- diced pimiento - 2 Tbsp
- 2 oz - 1/2 c
- buttered bread crumbs - 1/4 c
- sliced water chestnuts - 1/4 c
- cut green beans - 4 c
- can cream of mushroom soup, undiluted - 1 item
How to make green bean casserole:
Combine first 6 ingredients; stir well. Add next 4 ingredients. Spoon mixture into lightly greased 1 1/2-quart casserole; top with bread crumbs. Bake casserole at 350° for 25 minutes or until bubbly. Yields 6 servings.Recipe categories: Side dish, Casseroles, Green/yellow beans.
