Ingredients/Components
- sour cream - 1 c
- stick butter, melted - 1 item
- can cream of celery soup - 1 item
- can French-style green beans - 1 item
- small chopped onion - 1 item
- small can sliced water chestnuts - 1 item
- can Shoepeg white corn - 1 item
- + Cheddar cheese - 1 c
- crumbled Ritz crackers or stuffing mix - 1 item
How to make green bean casserole:
Drain liquid from vegetables. Layer first 5 ingredients (in order given) in buttered casserole dish. In a separate bowl mix celery soup, sour cream and butter. Spread mixture on top of layered vegetables and top with crumbled Ritz crackers or stuffing mix. Bake at 350° for 45 to 60 minutes.Recipe categories: Side dish, Casseroles, Green/yellow beans.
