- salt and pepper to taste - 1 item
- olive oil - 2 Tbsp
- dried leaf oregano - 1 tsp
- vegetable cooking spray - 1 item
- cloves crushed garlic - 3 item
- malt vinegar - 1 item
- , unpeeled - 2 medium
How to make greek oven fries:
Soak garlic in olive oil for at least 1 hour. Scrub potatoes; cut lengthwise into 8 wedges each. Place wedges in a bowl and cover with very cold water. Allow to stand for 30 minutes. Drain and pat dry with paper towels. Remove garlic from oil. Toss wedges in oil until coated. Coat baking sheet with cooking spray. Place potatoes, skin side down, on baking sheet. Sprinkle potatoes with oregano, salt and pepper. Bake at 400° for 50 minutes. Serve with malt vinegar.Recipe categories: Lunch/snacks, Snacks, Side dish.
