Ingredients/Components
- milk - 1 c
- shortening - 1/2 c
- self-rising flour - 3 c
How to make grandma's biscuits:
Grandma places her flour in a large bowl, make a well in the center of it, and add the shortening and milk to it. Work it together and roll it out. Cut out small biscuits or pinch off a small amount. Roll in hand, put in greased pan. Bake in a 425° oven until golden brown. Take out and butter the tops. Makes about 3 dozen biscuits.Recipe categories: < 60 mins, Breads, Rolls/biscuits.
