Ingredients/Components
- brown sugar - 1/2 c
- ketchup - 1 c
- large onion, diced - 1 item
- can kidney beans, drained - 1 oz
- liquid smoke optional - 1 Tbsp
- cooked bacon, diced - 1 lb
- can butter beans, drained - 1 oz
- ground round, crumbled - 1 lb
- white vinegar optional - 3 Tbsp
How to make grandma's baked beans:
In a skillet, brown your ground round and onion until brown. Drain and put aside. Then brown your bacon. Drain all fat. Combine meat, onion and all other ingredients and put into a crock-pot or large pot. Stir occasionally. Crock-pot: Cook on lowRecipe categories: < 4 hours, Side dish, Beans.
