  • box graham crackers - 1 oz
  • baking powder - 2 tsp
  • undiluted milk - 1 c
  • sticks butter or margarine - 2 item
  • sugar - 2 c
  • eggs - 4 item
  • vanilla extract - 1 tsp
  • chopped pecans - 1 c
  • can coconut - 1 1/2
  • Add baking powder and mix well
  • flour or cornstarch - 4 tsp
  • can crushed pineapple - 1 oz

How to make graham cracker cake:

Crumble crackers. Add baking powder and mix well. Add milk; set aside. Cream margarine and sugar. Add eggs, one at a time. Combine with cracker mixture. Stir in vanilla extract, pecans and coconut. Bake in greased 9 x 13 x 2-inch baking pan at 350° for 45 minutes or until done.Pineapple Filling For Graham Cracker Cake:1 c. sugar4 tsp. flour or cornstarch1 (20 oz.) can crushed pineapple Combine sugar and flour. Add pineapple and cook until thick (about 10 minutes). Spread over cake in the pan and cut into squares. Yields 12 to 15 servings.
