Graham cracker bars
Ingredients/Components
- sugar - 1 c
- vanilla - 1 tsp
- chopped pecans - 1 c
- milk - 1/2 c
- coconut - 1 c
- melted margarine - 1 c
- powdered sugar - 2 c
- egg, well beaten - 1 item
- cracker crumbs - 1 c
- box graham crackers - 1 item
How to make graham cracker bars:
Icing:6 Tbsp. melted margarine2 c. powdered sugar1 Tbsp. milk1 tsp. vanilla Combine melted margarine and sugar in saucepan; mix beaten egg and milk. Add to sugar mixture. Cook over medium heat until thickens. Remove from heat; add cracker crumbs, nuts and coconut. Cool. Line bottom of a 9 x 13-inch pan with whole graham crackers. Spread cooked mixture over crackers, then top with more whole crackers. Spread icing on top. Refrigerate before slicing into bars.Recipe categories: Desserts, Cookie and brownie, Bar cookie.
