  • pkg - 1 oz
  • egg - 1 item
  • stick margarine, melted - 1 item
  • yellow cake mix dry - 1 item
  • box powdered sugar, less 1 Tbsp - 1 lb

How to make gooey butter cake:

Mix together cake mix, margarine and egg. Pat lightly in a 9 x 13-inch pan. Mix together sugar, cream cheese and 2 eggs. Pour over cake mix in pan. Bake for 35 to 40 minutes at 350°. Sprinkle with 1 tablespoon powdered sugar before cake cools.
