Golden potato soup
Ingredients/Components
- milk
- water - 1 c
- margarine - 2 Tbsp
- Velveeta cheese - 1/3 lb
- chopped onion - 1/4 c
- dash of pepper - 1 item
- parsley - 1 tsp
- celery, cut up - 1/2 c
- carrots, cut up - 1/2 c
- chicken bouillon - 1 Tbsp
- sliced potatoes - 3 c
- Wondra flour - 2 Tbsp
How to make golden potato soup:
Simmer first eight ingredients for 15 minutes and let cool. Melt the margarine and add the flour and milk; cook to thicken. Add the cheese and cook until melted. Add to cooled vegetables and stir well. Heat in individual bowls in microwave to serve; do not cover to heat as it will curdle.Given to me by Jane Baumann.
