Ingredients/Components

  • carrots - 1 lb
  • salt - 1/4 tsp
  • white sugar - 2 Tbsp
  • brown sugar - 6 Tbsp
  • butter - 4 Tbsp
  • juice of 1 orange

How to make glazed carrots:

Prepare carrots and cut into small slices. Boil in water with salt and white sugar until tender; drain. Melt butter in saucepan with brown sugar and orange juice. Bring to a boil; add carrots. Do not overcook.

Option: Add 1 cup blue or green seedless grapes.
