Glazed broiled tomatoes
Ingredients/Components
- salt - 1/4 tsp
- Dijon mustard - 1 tsp
- Parmesan cheese - 3 Tbsp
- mayonnaise - 3 Tbsp
- parsley - 2 tsp
- chives - 1/2 tsp
- pinch of fresh ground pepper - 1 item
- medium tomatoes ripe - 3 item
How to make glazed broiled tomatoes:
Preheat oven to 400°. Cut tomatoes into 3/4-inch slices. Place in single layer on baking sheet. Combine mayonnaise, mustard, 1 teaspoon parsley, chives, salt, pepper and Parmesan cheese in a small bowl. Spread mixture over each tomato slice. Sprinkle with remaining Parmesan cheese. Bake about 10 minutes. Immediately transfer to broiler (6-inches from heat). Broil until topping is golden, glazed and bubbly. Sprinkle with remaining parsley.
