  • sugar - 1 c
  • flour - 1 item
  • water - 1/2 c
  • soda
  • lard - 1 c
  • syrup - 1 c
  • black pepper and ginger or you can leave the pepper out and use 2 tsp

How to make gingersnaps:

Mix all ingredients together working dough well. Add enough flour to make the consistency of biscuit dough. Roll out and cut putting on a hot pan. Bake until lightly brown in a 350° oven.
